With over ten years of study and practical experience in organic agriculture, designing and building many organic gardens and farms projects, the farm owner and her husband really want to share their knowledge and experience with everyone to help them grow their own organic garden/ farm at home or for business.

Organic agriculture helps protect the environment, restores the ecosystem in a sustainable way and creates organic agricultural products rich in nutrients which are beneficial for health.

Class duration: 3 ½ hours

Morning: 09:00 AM – 12:30 AM
Afternoon: 01:30 PM – 5:00 PM

Detail

Part 1: Learning about organic agriculture – theory

You are welcomed with a handmade organic herbal tea.
You will learn about IFOAM’s principles of organic agriculture and how to build a small to medium sized organic garden.

Part 2: Discovering an organic farm

You will visit our organic farm, learn a relatively complete organic agricultural model from composting and vermicomposting to how to prepare soil, raise beds, fertilize, planting, how to grow, reducing pests, how to make natural biological products, how to nurture soil microorganisms and nourish soil, how to balance the ecosystem and how to develop an organic garden in a sustainable way and so on.

Part 3: Learning about organic agriculture – practice

You will have an experience of being an organic farmer with practical activities on the farm such as soil preparation, mixing growing medium, fertilizing, sowing seeds, planting trees in different ways i.e. planting with cuttings, planting with seedlings, growing with tubers, as well as pruning and harvesting, etc.

Part 4: Enjoy a big healthy meal

You will enjoy a healthy meal with five dishes and one fruit juice (for non-vegetarian and vegetarian)
1. Herbal fried rice
2. Sour mushroom soup
3. An Farm salad
4. Sauteed mushroom
5. Summer rolls

Price:

  • Group from 2 – 4 pax: 42 USD/ 1 pax.
  • Group from 5 – 12 pax: 36 USD/ 1 pax.
  • Group ≥ 13 pax: 33 USD/ 1 pax.

Free for children under 5 years old. Charge 80% for children from 5 to 9 years old.
