Herbal Taste Challenges in an organic farm
Herbs are plants that have fragrance, flavor and health benefits. However, there are hundreds of herbs in the world, understanding and incorporating them into daily life is not simple.
Therefore, An Farm will give you the opportunity to feel the flavors of some typical Asian and European herbs through the “Herbal Taste Challenge” experience. Through challenging games, you will feel the aroma and taste of herbs with all your senses, and learn how to combine them to use in daily life.
Time duration: 02 hours 30 minutes
From 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Program
Part 1:Visiting and discovering organic herb farm
Visitors are welcomed with a herbal tea made from herbs grown in the organic garden.
Next is exploring our organic herb farm with more than fifty types of medicinal herbs, fruits and edible flowers while observing and learning about an effective organic farm model.
Part 2:Herbal taste challenges
Visitors will be divided into teams and participate in three games in the
Bartender Challenges program:
Game 1: “Guess the herbs”
Time duration: 10 minutes
Content: Each team will taste and inhale ten different herbs and try to guess their names.
The team that finds correctly identifies in the fastest time will be the winners.
Game 2: “Mystery box to make healthy juice”
Time duration: 30 minutes
Content: Each team will receive a mystery box with many fresh ingredients, including edible flowers, mints, fruit, juice, herbs, etc. They will skillfully choose some ingredients to make two types of healthy juices.
The jury will score juices according to two criteria: taste and appearance.
The team with the tastiest and most attractive juice will be the winners of this contest.
Game 3: “Mystery box to make herbal tea”
Time duration: 20 minutes
Content: Each team will receive a mystery box with some dried herbs and mints. They will skillfully choose some ingredients to make one herbal tea. The jury will score juice according to two criteria: taste and appearance.
The team with the tastiest and most attractive tea will be the winners.
After the three games, the judges will total the points and the team with the highest score will be the winners and receive prizes.
Part 3:Enjoy some snack home foods.
You will be given some home foods to taste:
- Mushroom and seaweed fried rice.
- Vegetable and mushroom soup.
- A glass of hibiscus juice.
Part 4:Free time for relaxing, walking and gardening.
